Good afternoon, this is Elizabeth. I work for a tech company and I’m really angry about being given mail service.

Hi,

I’m really frustrated. Do you have any suggestions as to how to handle these packages? I work in a tech environment, and there is a lot of movement through and around my building, and a lot of people really need them. At one point, about a month ago, I knew that I needed to do something, but I didn’t have a way to manage it. Unfortunately, no company I called offered me help because the packages must be organized on time (they must arrive by the first of the month).

Recently, I received an email from a consulting firm that I think I could really use help with (this is supposed to be my company’s only responsibility with my salary). I’m working really hard to do whatever the consultants say I should, and I am very happy about it. Everything looks good so far, and I haven’t had an issue, but as mentioned in the email, I still need my packages on time. The problem is that I, along with about 100 other people, really need these things.

Do you have any suggestions for me?

PS: This is also a place where folks are going off-campus, a place where my colleagues and I have moved our stuff frequently (because of the varying levels of interest to begin with), and where there are people who are hyper busy and need their packages on time, but I’m one person who, in my flat, really doesn’t have any time (even if I were someone who gave off a good “superwoman” vibe to everyone), so no, I cannot do this for everyone. And to be completely honest, while I’m ready to give my time and energy to what you are proposing, the idea of sitting in an office, cajoling and begging anyone to accommodate me into making these things happen is not a good one for me.

Thanks,

PS

Agreed!
